The Original Pancake House, making its debut in the waterfront area, was founded in 1953 in Portland, Oregon, by chefs Les Hyett and Elma Hunik! The Original Pancake House uses high-quality ingredients, and everything from the batter to the whipped butter, syrups, and sauces is made using the same original recipes that have remained unchanged. The fluffy and chewy Dutch baby pancakes and other pancakes, made with meticulous care and attention to detail, are loved by many customers at 144 locations across the United States. In addition to pancakes, crepes and waffles are also prepared with care by the chefs after you order, all using traditional recipes. The hamburger menu is also extensive!
